Free entry to Roma Capitale’s museums

Every first Sunday of the month, state-owned heritage places (museums, galleries, archaeological sites, monumental parks and gardens) are open with free admission for all visitors.

A great opportunity, which joins the one linked to the Vatican Museums, that – as we remember – are free on the last Sunday of the month.

Before making your visit, you should always call the museum to ensure its opening.

Free access does not always include a visit to the exhibitions in progress for which instead would remain in place the appropriate pricing.
